On August 1, 2009, 19 year old Stafford, VA resident Kyle Preston was involved in a tragic car accident, resulting in a broken neck and a crushed spinal cord. While this accident may have caused paralysis from the chest down, it doesn't change who he is...a caring teenager that helped friends and family, and is the most loyal and dedicated friend you can ever have. Follow Kyle's progress as he works hard to overcome the challenges of a C6 spinal cord injury in order to come home!

Just a quick update as of noon Aug 31st....Kyle is being transferred back to Pediatric Intensive Care at the UVA Medical Center. He is continuing to have issues with his oxygen saturation levels not rebounding and some issues with his nutrition/feeding tube. His stomach just can't tolerate the feeding drip.

As soon as they get him moved and stable, we'll know more!
